Connected sports tracking project, from concept to functional prototype in 1 year.
In collaboration with Julien Maille-Paez
A project combining design, technology, and innovation to create a functional connected bracelet.
Noticing a problem during our workouts, we designed Altair Gym, a practical and innovative connected bracelet.
The project was born from a concrete need observed among athletes: to track and analyze their movements in a simple and reliable way.
Different approaches were tested to design a complete and functional bracelet.
The project was conceived as a whole, from hardware to software, to provide a coherent and useful experience for users.
Key steps to transform the idea into a functional prototype, developing both hardware and software.

Design of the complete prototype, combining electronics and casing, moving from an Arduino to a custom chip while optimizing size, weight, and battery life.

Development of an iOS and Android app to collect, visualize, and analyze data from the bracelet, with full deployment to the app stores.

Creation of a showcase website to present the project and its features, with continuous deployment on Vercel.
Processing and analysis of sensor data: cleaning, CNN modeling, and extracting patterns from time series.
Planning, strategy, and key decisions enabled Altair Gym to take shape and become a reality.
Altair Gym was organized around a clear roadmap and careful follow-up to turn the idea into a working prototype.
The project gained visibility through a well-planned marketing strategy, social media management, and market research.
We assessed the project’s viability with a solid business plan and financial analyses.
